Red Horticulture, created in 2018, is originally a start-up in IoT & AgTech whose mission is to revolutionize the way lighting is used in professional greenhouses.
They are developing a global solution allowing today's and tomorrow's producers to manage lighting in an optimized way in order to consume less, produce more and better all year round. For Red Horticulture we are looking for a Commercial Director reporting to the top management to lead the teams and the commercial strategy of the company in the Netherlands and especially more widely in Europe.
Your missions:
(1) Development and implementation of the commercial strategy:
- Define and execute the sales action plan for the company, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives;
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue targets;
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term business success;
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion along side the marketing manager;
- Develop and manage the commercial budget to ensure that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently;
- Identify and develop new sales channels and partnerships to expand the company's reach and customer base.
(2) Monitoring and analysis of sales performance
- Monitor and analyze sales performance indicators;
- Report to the general management;
- If necessary, reorient the sales action plan initially drawn up with general management and suggest ways of optimizing it.
(3) Management and supervision of the team in Holland
- Lead, motivate and unite the teams around the applicable strategy and transmit necessary strategic information;
- Evaluate the individual performance of the team;
- Support the teams and accompanying them in the field when dealing with complex issues;
- Administrative reporting to the top management.
Your Skills:
- Good knowledge of the horticultural field and ideally of lighting in professional greenhouses;
- Leadership, team management and coaching qualifications;
- Very good communication and relational skills;
- Spirit of initiative and entrepreneurship;
- Fluency in English.
