The position

In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing operational processes across three Dutch R&D locations. You will ensure that data, planning and execution are fully aligned and provide the organization with analyses, models and insights that support informed decision-making.

You will work closely with colleagues from Breeding, Traits & Technology, Operations and Finance, while acting as a trusted partner to site managers and the international R&D team.

What will you do?

As a Data Analyst R&D Operations & Planning, you will help ensure that available resources, capacity and activities are planned and utilized as effectively as possible. You will analyze performance, identify improvement opportunities and develop models that contribute to operational excellence.

Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and optimizing capacity, resource and production planning for the Dutch R&D locations
   
• Analyzing operational data, KPIs, performance metrics and budgets
   
• Identifying deviations and translating insights into concrete improvement actions
   
• Developing models and dashboards to support planning and decision-making
   
• Supporting the annual budgeting process and monitoring operational costs
   
• Advising site managers and R&D management on performance, capacity utilization and efficiency
   
• Improving and standardizing processes, work instructions and planning methodologies
   
• Supporting the implementation of planning and management systems
   
• Aligning processes and ways of working across multiple locations
   
• Contributing to continuous improvement in safety, quality and operational performance

This position requires regular travel between the Dutch R&D locations (approximately 25%).

What do you bring?

You are an analytical professional who enjoys connecting data, processes and people. You are able to structure complex information and translate analyses into practical and actionable solutions.

In addition, you have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Experience with planning, process analysis and process improvement
• Affinity with data analysis, capacity planning and operational optimization
• Experience with ERP, MRP or similar systems is an advantage
• Experience with modelling, simulations or capacity analysis is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
• Good command of both Dutch and English
