Job Summary

The Global Solution Manager leads the global Feed Efficiency solution portfolio to deliver measurable customer value and profitable growth. The role defines strategy, shapes the offer (products, services, data), and drives commercialization with regional teams. Responsibilities include portfolio positioning, launch excellence, sales enablement and market intelligence. The role reports to the Global Solution Director and collaborates with Global/Regional Technical Managers, Marketing & Communication, Regulatory, Innovation, and regional commercial leaders. Previous experience working with nutritional emulsifiers, particularly those based on PGPR (polyglycerol polyricinoleate) or lysolecithin or similar, is considered an advantage.

Target Species: Poultry, Swine and Aquatic species.

General Functions

1) Solution and Portfolio Strategy

• Own the global Feed Efficiency solution strategy, value proposition, and differentiation by species and priority markets.
• Build and maintain a 3-year portfolio roadmap aligned to market needs, regulatory pathways, and margin targets.
• Define offer architecture: core products, add-on services, data/decision tools, and service levels.

2) Go-to-Market and Commercial Execution

• Lead go-to-market plans for new launches and major updates: Segmentation, use-cases, messaging, channels, and commercialization timelines.
• Set sales motions and playbooks (problem-solution stories, objection handling, competitive swaps).

3) Market Intelligence and Competitive Strategy

• Lead competitive positioning and counters; publish periodic briefs and sales battlecards.
• Translate Voice-of-Customer and field feedback into backlog items for Product/Innovation.

4) Sales Enablement and Marketing

• Own the global content plan and calendar for Feed Efficiency with Marketing (solution briefs, ROI tools, case studies, webinars, conference abstracts).
• Create various marketing communication tools such as brochure, flyers etc.

Requirements

• Master degree or MBA in Animal Nutrition or related studies
• 7+ years in animal nutrition or feed additives with proven solution/portfolio or product management responsibility.
• Demonstrated success in go-to-market leadership, pricing, and sales enablement for technical B2B offerings.
• Experience turning technical evidence into commercial value stories and ROI tools.
• Comfortable leading through influence across technical, regulatory, marketing, and commercial teams in a global matrix.
• A keen learner and observant professional with a strong willingness to collaborate effectively with global colleagues, fostering cross-cultural understanding and teamwork.
• Fluent in English / Dutch or other languages (French, Spanish) are preferred but not necessary.
• Willingness to travel: approximately 15–25% of the time.
